Army Dog Center Hub

Army Dog Center in Hub

Hub lies at the edge of Balochistan beside Karachi, on the Hub river and the dam that supplies the region, with an industrial estate, a coastal highway and a long stretch of dry hills behind it. Trucks, workers and commuters move between Hub and Karachi at all hours.

Situations we are asked about in Hub

• Goods or vehicles taken from the industrial estate or the highway.
• A worker who left for the night shift and cannot be reached.
• Shops and houses entered in the town after dark.
• A search in the dry hills or along the riverbed beyond the dam.

Heavy truck traffic and workers coming and going make scenes busy and tracks quickly lost. Dry hills and riverbeds give anyone leaving a scene many routes. Scent is the more reliable guide. Keep the area closed, leave locks and doors untouched, and make a short note of everyone who has been there since.

Report serious crimes to the police on 15. Then call Army Dog Center on 0300-5780720. We answer around the clock. Tell us the area, the road, and the time you found the loss.

Hub is a place where people live in one province and work in another, so many calls involve workers who commute to Karachi. If someone has failed to arrive or to return, tell us their usual route, the time they left, and the vehicle or transport they use. For thefts at industrial units, describe how many gates there are and whether any security staff or guards were on duty at the time the loss was found.
